As I’ve already mentioned in my All About Jeon Jihyun Spam-slash-Spazz Post, this couple right here is my K-Ent OTP. Jihyun and Woosung have started working as CF partners for the clothing apparel brand Giordano since 2001, and played star-crossed lovers in 2006’s Daisy. They are, in my opinion, one of the best couplings the Korean CF and film industry has ever put together… and I fervently wish for a reunion project in the near future. (I also wish for them to end up together in real life, because really… don’t you think they’d make beautiful, gorgeous babies?)
I’ve been re-watching Jeon Jihyun movies on Youtube lately, and I thought I’d do a post about it since it’s one of my favorites. If you think it’s on my “Favorites” list only because of Jeon Jihyun, you’re terribly wrong. It has Jung Woosung too, one of the most gorgeous Korean actors I’ve encountered. RAWR. Daisy reunited forever CF partners Jeon Jihyun and Jung Woosung (seriously, they’ve been doing CFs since late 2001 or early 2002), in their first and only (as of yet) film project released in March of 2006. Completing the infamous love triangle is Lee Sungjae (
) who plays an Interpol officer out to get international terrorists like Woosung, but falls in love with Jihyun’s street painter character.
I fell in love with the beautiful scenery of The Netherlands because of this film. One of the more visually stunning scenes involves the field of daisies that Jihyun visits to paint masterpieces that she intends to showcase in a painting exhibition. That scene really made me want to enter the screen so I can enjoy rolling down the field and dorky stuff like that. 😛

But my most favorite scene is in Part 8 (check out the links above), when Sungjae comes back from Korea to pay Jihyun a visit and makes a confession about who he really is and what he did to her. I love the use of split screen to show the three main actors’ faces and emotions simultaneously, and in my opinion, all three did so well and made the entire scene so moving.
